The documentation does not
accurately show the viewers experience within the piece, as
the imagery is constructed by using the high rotational speed
of the projector to cause its CRT to oscan a different portion
of the wall for each field of video. This deconstructed video
image is then very difficult for a video camera to reconstruct,
however, the eye with its persistence of vision, sees the whole
interior of the room as a continuous video image made up of
12 distinct frames of video, making the video screen completely
encircle the viewer. |
